Lucille Frydenlund

Lucille Frydenlund, 83, of Lake Nona, Florida, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on August 27.

Lucille was a woman who believed that family was everything. Nothing made her happier than spending time with the people she loved, and she had a beautiful way of making those around her feel cared for, welcomed, and loved.

Lucille had a generous heart and was always willing to give to those in need. She never wanted recognition for her kindness; helping others was simply part of who she was. She also loved the simple joys of life, especially taking long walks and spending time with her family.

Lucille deeply loved her husband, Mark Frydenlund, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. He passed away two years before her, and she missed him dearly. Their love remained an important part of her life, and her family takes comfort in knowing that they are together again.

Lucille also carried a special love for Arizona. Although she left Arizona ten years ago, she missed it every single day and often remembered the life and memories she made there.

She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward: her sons, Ron Rigenstrup and Robert Rigenstrup; her daughter, Lisa Steinhauer, and son-in-law, Daniel Steinhauer; her five grandchildren (Randy, Chris, Brandon, Fynn, and Hanns) four great-grandchildren; her nieces, Joanne Adams Howard and Emma Curtis; and her beloved best friend, Raquel Jones.

Lucille's greatest wish was simply to be with her family. She gave them her love, her kindness, her laughter, and countless memories that will remain with them forever.

She lived a life centered on love, generosity, family, and friendship. Her family will remember her not for the years she lived, but for the love she gave during them.

Lucille will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by the family she loved so much.

At Lucille's request, she will be cremated, and her family will gather for a private service to celebrate her life.
