Margaret Anne Berry

Margaret Anne Berry, born on May 25, 1965, passed away on September 6, 2026.

Margaret will be remembered as a woman with a happy outlook and a caring heart. She loved helping children in her community and was known for the positive spirit she carried throughout her life. In the last few years of her life, she overcame a great deal and remained positive through it all, reflecting the strength and grace that marked her character.

She attended one of the top high schools in New York City and went on to build a working life that included a wide variety of office administration positions, from dental care to appliance repair. She brought dedication and adaptability to her work, serving in many roles over the years.

Margaret found joy in puzzles and in crafts such as cross stitch, crocheting, and other fiber arts. She also held a community theatre company where the focus was on giving children roles in plays and musicals, an expression of her deep encouragement of young people and their creativity. Her love for children also showed in her church life. She deeply loved her church and was often seen volunteering at children’s activities, including AWANAs and in the nursery.

Margaret’s life was defined by her generous love, endless encouragement, and the simple delight she found in sharing her time with others. Her family will forever cherish the vibrant memories of her long days in the theatre surrounded by happy thespians, as well as the quiet evenings spent at home over a movie or a puzzle. Most of all, they will miss the everyday, ordinary moments of her love in action—like the patience and joy she brought to teaching her children how to ride a bike or rollerblade.

Margaret Anne Berry was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Berry. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Margaret Trainor; her sister, Joy Guilbault; as well as her children and grandchildren. Margaret leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, faith, creativity, and devotion to children. She will be remembered with love by all who knew her and by those whose lives were brightened by her encouragement and care.
