Maria Rubiela Alcivar, born on July 26, 1941, in Tulua, Colombia, passed away on February 5, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Rubiela began her career as a cashier in Colombia and later worked at the Empire State Building. Everyone who knew her cherished her kind and sweet nature. A trustworthy friend, Rubiela was also renowned for her exceptional culinary skills. She is survived by her loving son, Manuel Alcivar and his wife Ana, Sisters Ligia, Meri, Celmira, Gilma. She was preceded in death by her Husband Manuel I Alcivar, sisters Emilia and Olga, and Brothers Fabio and Bernardino. Rubiela's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by those fortunate enough to meet her.


Service will start with a Mass at St. Isaac Jogues catholic church at 10am on February 16, 2026. Followed by memorial and viewing 1130am at Newcomer Orlando. Ending with a burial at Queen of Angels at 2pm.


María Rubiela Alcívar, nacio en 26 de julio de 1941 en Tuluá, Colombia, falleció el 5 de febrero de 2026 en Orlando, Florida. Rubiela comenzó su carrera como cajera en el Ley Cali Colombia y luego trabajó en el Empire State Building. Era muy querida por todos los que la conocieron por su naturaleza amable y dulce. Amiga leal y confiable, Rubiela también era reconocida por sus excepcionales dotes culinarias. Le sobrevive su querido hijo, Manuel Alcívar y esposa Ana y hermanas Ligia, Meri, Celmira y Gilma. Rubiela fue precedia por la muerte de su esposo Manuel I Alcivar y hermanas Emilia y Olga, y hermanos Fabio y Bernardino. Su calidez y bondad serán profundamente extrañadas por quienes tuvieron la fortuna de conocernos.


El servicio comienza con una misa a las 10am en St Isaac Jogues después un memorial y velorio, Lunes 16, de Febrero 2026  a las 1130am en Newcomer Orlando. Finalmente el entierro en Queen of Angels 2pm.
