Maria S. Valcarcel-Cordero, 86, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on September 23, 2025. Born on October 4, 1938, in Guaymabo, Puerto Rico, Maria lived a life marked by dedication to her family and faith.

For many years, Maria served as an accountant, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail that defined her professional life. A devoted Catholic, she held a deep and abiding faith that was central to her life's journey.

Maria is survived by her loving daughter, Maria B. Santana; her grandsons, Mario Mercado and Saul Mercado; and three cherished great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Orlando Chapel, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Maria's life will take place at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Maria will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
