**In Loving Memory of Marina Quesada**
Marina Quesada, a cherished soul, peacefully departed this world on May 17, 2025, at the age of 79, in her beloved Orlando, FL. Born on October 9, 1945, in Bogotá, Colombia, she crafted a vibrant life, filled with love, warmth, and countless joyful memories, much like a beautiful tapestry woven with cherished threads.
At the tender age of 23, Marina embarked on a courageous journey to the United States with her dear brother, marking the beginning of an extraordinary chapter. Settling in Long Beach, NY, she dedicated herself to managing Hoffman Manor for many years before retiring to the sunny embrace of Florida, where she enjoyed the closeness of her devoted daughter.
Marina was a radiant beacon of light, her vibrant spirit enlivening the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. Her love for dancing was infectious, and her ability to celebrate life filled every gathering with laughter and joy. With an enchanting smile and delightful sense of humor, she illuminated each moment, leaving a footprint of happiness wherever she went. Her beloved garden, a reflection of her nurturing nature, flourished under her care, each blossom a testament to her love for beauty and life itself.
Her sweet tooth was legendary, delighting in treats such as peanut M&Ms, brevas with cheese, and her ultimate favorite—strawberry ice cream. Even more beloved were her culinary creations; Marina became renowned for her legendary arepas, while her scrambled eggs, stewed chicken, sancocho, and oxtail dishes transformed family gatherings into unforgettable feasts, forever weaving lasting memories around the dinner table.
A passionate traveler, Marina embraced wanderlust with open arms, particularly reveling in the joy of cruising through the world. On the sidelines, she rooted passionately for her Yankees, embodying a spirit full of vitality and zest for life. Weekends were a cherished time, filled with lively games of dominos, parques, or pokeno, while visits to the casino brought her laughter and excitement, each outing a delightful adventure.
Elegance defined Marina; she took pride in her appearance, always presenting herself with poise and grace. But above all, her heart thrived within her family. She found pure joy in spoiling her grandchildren and her beloved fur grandchildren, sharing sweet treats and creating heartfelt moments that will be cherished forever.
Marina leaves behind a legacy of love, including her beloved daughter Claudia Quesada and her husband Angel Domena; her dear brother Yecid Cifuentes; her sister Clara Cifuentes; and her cherished grandchildren: Thalia, Angel Jr., Kimberly, Kiara, and Kristian.
