Marjorie Juanita Dancy

Marjorie Juanita Dancy, née Lee, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Brunswick, Georgia, at the age of 95. She was born on October 2, 1930, in Blackshear, Georgia, and her long life will be remembered with love and gratitude by those who knew her.

Marjorie carried with her the roots of her Georgia beginnings throughout her life. She will be remembered as a beloved woman whose presence mattered deeply to her family and friends, and whose memory will continue to be cherished.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Dancy, and by her parents, Savannah Lee and W.G. Lee.

Marjorie leaves behind her daughter, Lynn Dancy, and her cousin, Dee James, who mourn her passing and hold dear the many memories they shared with her. In their sorrow, they also carry forward the love and connection that shaped Marjorie’s life and remain part of her lasting legacy.

A funeral service will be held on September 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 220 Horatio Avenue West, Maitland, Florida 32751. Burial will follow later that day from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, Florida 32789.
