Meghan Dunn, of Orlando, FL passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. She was born on February 9, 1987 in New York City, NY. She is survived by her loving husband, Matthew Dunn; her father Jim Kobel and many close family members, her beloved cat Grayson and 16 bettas.
Meghan now finds herself warmed by the love of her mother Regina, grandma Marge McCabe Cary, Grammie and Poppie Kobel, along with a cast of characters too many to mention by name, but all equally loved.
Meghan truly embraced her life as a Gator, during her years at UF (high-fiving Tim Tebow in the courtyard) and after graduation as well; filling her apartment and house with a surprising amount of orange and blue memorabilia. She loved puzzles and was a diehard Swiftie. Her career as a paralegal found her working in smaller, more intimate firms rather than larger, more impersonal organizations.
We will hold her in our hearts and souls always, until we are all reunited.
In honoring Meghan's life, the family invites friends to gather on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel, providing an opportunity for loved ones to come together and reflect on the beautiful moments shared with Meghan.
Guests are encouraged to leave special memories in the guest book, allowing the family to cherish the remembrances of Meghan's remarkable life.
