No solo vendía casas — ayudaba a familias a encontrar hogares.

“He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe.” — 2 Timoteo 4:7

Migdalia Iris "Mitty" Fontanez FlechaApril 2, 1965 – Forever in Our Hearts

Migdalia Iris "Mitty" Fontanez Flecha was born on April 2, 1965 in Lorain, Ohio. Daughter of Sara Fontanez (in heaven) and Misael Fontanez, she grew up surrounded by the family love that she would later reflect in every person she met.

She was a dedicated mother, proud of her children Alex, Bryan, and Richard Miranda, and a loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Alex Jr., Emilia, Dante, Broly, and Desire, who were her constant joy.

She is also survived by her siblings Eliu, Debbie, Abner, Eleazar, Misael Jr., Dialis, and Arlinda, and Lemy and Bilma remain in her memory.

Mitty was distinguished by being a kind, loving, joyful, strong, helpful, and confident woman. She had a generous heart and always found a way to help others. She was an empowered woman, brave even in difficult times, and worked tirelessly to serve others. For her, caring for people was not simply a job — it was her essence.

She loved cooking and had a great passion for gardening; every time she visited her father she would return with new plants, caring for them lovingly as if they were part of her family. She also practiced herbalism and believed in natural healing, caring for both body and soul.

Professionally, she was a dedicated real estate agent. She didn't just sell houses — she helped families find homes. She had a special heart for the Hispanic community, which she represented with pride, guiding many families to achieve the dream of their first home. She even offered classes for first-time buyers on weekends because she wanted people to understand the process and have opportunities.

She deeply enjoyed crafts, an activity she shared with her sisters, spending quality hours combining talents — though always with her characteristic competitive spirit. Year after year they participated in their anticipated Sister reunion, whose motto was: five sisters, five journeys, a time of unity, laughter, and memories.

Among her most special moments were the duets she performed with her sons, simple moments but full of love. Above all, she was a proud mother of three boys, whom she raised with strength, resilience, honesty, and love.

Today we honor the life of Migdalia — a woman of incredible strength, deep love, and dedication to others. She not only opened doors literally, she also opened them in people's lives.

Her strength lives on in us. Her love for helping others inspires us every day. Some knew her as mom, others as daughter, sister, friend, or counselor — but we all knew her as a woman of purpose.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7
