Myria Hernandez Garcia

Myria Hernandez Garcia passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, in Orange City at the age of 90. Born on December 4, 1935, in Havana, Cuba, Myria’s life was marked by resilience, and a deep dedication to family.

Myria was preceded in death by her parents Carlos and Ramona Hernandez, her husband, Miguel A. Garcia, and her beloved son, Miguel Garcia.

She is survived by her loving grandchildren, and great grandchildren: Jeanette Garcia, Bianca Phillips, Katrina Arthurs, Christopher Garcia, Eliana Garcia, Bradon Phillips, Tristan Phillips, Kennedy Arthurs, and Evan Arthurs. Myria was also an adored aunt to her nephew, Carlos Macias, and her niece, Iliana Lustre. Her circle of loved ones extended beyond family to treasured friends, including Lourdes Valdez, who remained a valued companion.

A graveside service for Myria will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Glen Haven Memorial Park, located at 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m.
