Naisa Eileen Ramirez, 55, passed away on October 19, 2025. She was born on July 1, 1970, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Haydee Isabel Diaz Maldonado and Benigno Velazquez Cardona.
Naisa proudly served 10 years in the U.S. Army, dedicating herself with honor and discipline. Beyond her military service, she was a woman who was fearless, a firecracker, and loved passionately.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mauricio Ramirez; her beloved children Habib, Deisa, Kenneth, Deinaly, and Natasha; and her cherished grandchildren Amaya, Emma, Jean Carlos, and Jesiel. Her family was her world, and she poured her heart into every moment she shared with them.
Naisa had a deep love for life’s simple joys — crafting, baking, playing Words with Friends, adventure/fun, and singing along to Michael Bublé’s holiday songs (on repeat!) all season long. She was rarely seen without a Starbucks cup in hand and loved a good shopping trip. More than anything, Naisa will be remembered for her big, generous heart and the way she made everyone she met feel like family.
A funeral service to honor Naisa’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3806 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.Her burial will take place the following morning, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Hwy 1N, Mims, FL 32754.
