Narria Marie Robotham, born on February 19, 1963, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, passed away on January 6, 2026, at AdventHealth Orlando Hospital in Orlando, Florida. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and a kind friend to many.
Narria’s career as an accountant was marked by her dedication and passion for her profession. She began her journey working for Price Waterhouse in Jamaica before continuing her career at Moore Stevens. Her most recent role was as a financial controller for Children's Home Society of Florida, where she worked diligently, always adhering to the rules and ensuring every detail was meticulously handled. Her professional integrity and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on her colleagues and employers, who always said she was their favorite.
Her educational pursuits took her through esteemed institutions, including Montego Bay Community College, the University of Cast, and the University of the West Indies. Narria concluded this chapter of her life with a Master's degree from Manchester University and proudly earned her Chartered Accountant certification.
Beyond her professional achievements, Narria was known for her kind and caring nature. Those who knew her would describe her as compassionate, organized, and often funny, bringing warmth and laughter to those around her. A devoted woman of God, she embodied her faith in her daily life, exemplifying the Christian values of love and kindness. Narria had a zest for life that extended beyond her professional and family commitments. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, and dancing whenever the opportunity arose. Her evenings were often spent curled up on the couch, captivated by vintage romance stories, a reflection of her love for both the simple joys and the richness of storytelling.
Narria held her family close to her heart. She is survived by her beloved husband, David Robotham, with whom she just this past year celebrated 25 years of marriage, marked by a special cruise on the Mediterranean. She is also survived her two children, Liam and Leah Robotham, whom she recently watched graduate with their associate's degrees from Valencia College, a moment she treasured deeply. She also leaves behind two sisters, Ninfa Lightbody and Angela Jacobs, and a brother, Charles Campbell, along with several nieces and nephews.
Though she has joined her parents, Ewie Shelton and Iva Harris, and her brother, Anton Brown, her spirit will continue to resonate through the lives she touched. Narria’s countless friends and colleagues will miss her dearly, carrying forward her memory with fondness and love.
