He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Nieves; son, Nestor Jairo Portilla; daughters, Vanessa Maria Portilla and Erika Michelle Portilla; step-daughters, Limari Gonzalez and Nitza Liz Gonzalez; sisters, Barbara Velosa and Berta Portilla; brother, Ricardo Portilla and 6 grandchildren.
