Nina Spencer Locke of Winter Park, Florida, entered eternal life with Jesus Christ and was reunited with her husband, Jim on October 1, 2025.
Born November 13, 1929, she was adopted by the Spencer family of Riverdale, NY. She is survived by her children; Margie (Bill) Bridges, Dede (Ken) Smith, John (Jaymee) Locke, grandchildren; Darin (Tracy) Bridges, Ryan (Kim) Bridges, James Bridges, Lisa (David) Miller, Chelsea (Ryan) Stevens, Spencer (Chris) Mason; great grandchildren Jordan & Samuel Miller, Monroe & George Mason, Sayer Stevens, sister Shirley Caracciolo, Italy; and half-brother Peter Goldsmith, England.
Nina graduated from Penn Hall in Chambersburg, VA and attended Barmore College, NY. In 1957, the family moved to Winter Park. In 1964, she was elected Republican State Committee Woman and the delegate to the Republican National Convention. Nina accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior in 1969. She was active with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU). Her autobiography, Twice Chosen – is her story of redemption.
A celebratory service will be held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 4917 Eli Street, Orlando on November 22nd at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to “The Jesus Film Project”, 100 Lake Hart Drive, Orlando, FL 32832 or to St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church.
