Norma Jean Hanchar was born January 28, 1939 to the late Albert Beart and Marian Jane Luckett. She grew up in East Chicago, Indiana and attended schools there.
She loved to fish, go to church and read her Bible.
Norma Jean was preceded in death by her father, Albert Beard and mother, Marian J. Luckett and her step-father William Luckett.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Son: Reginald Taylor; three daughters: Stephanie Dennis, Bridgetta Taylor and Lekeisha Marrero; two sisters: Laneta Roy and Willetta Lockett; brother: William Beard; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and other friends survive her.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Receptions & Funerals, East Orlando Chapel from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. A Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
