Orpha Quintero-Dávila nació el 15 de enero de 1934 en el pueblo de San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. Se crió en el estado de Nueva York y años más tarde regresó a la isla. Se casó con Ángel Colón y tuvieron a su hija, María del Carmen (“Cucusa”) y su hijo, Rafael Antonio (“Rafi”).
En el año 1978, Orpha conoció al Señor Jesucristo y se dedicó a escribir poemas sobre la vida cristiana. Fungió como maestra bíblica y participó en el coro de la iglesia.
Orpha fué a morar con el Señor el lunes, 23 de diciembre de 2024.
Actualmente, se está trabajando en la recopilación de sus poemas para publicar un libro donde quede su legado.
