Otilia Colon Cruz, born on January 5, 1941, passed away peacefully at her home on December 23, 2025. She was surrounded by her devoted husband of 51 years and sons, Alberto and Harold. She was a beloved figure whose warmth and kindness shone brightly in the lives of those around her.

Otilia, a survivor of breast cancer, dedicated her generosity to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Her dedication to her community as a member of St. Isaac's Catholic Church and Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

In her personal life, Otilia was a cherished wife to her husband, Alberto Cruz Rojas. Together, they built a home filled with love and laughter that served as a gathering place for family and friends. Otilia’s legacy continues through her children, Albertito and Harold, as well as her daughters-in-law, Margaux Cruz and Christina Cruz, who admired her strength and nurturing spirit.

Otilia took immense joy in being a grandmother to Noelle, Noah, and Christian, and Mia, and great-grandmother to Christian B., who brought her joy. Her surviving sisters, Zenaida Ramos and Providencia Colon, can attest to the strong familial bonds she cultivated throughout her life.

She is preceded by her father, Evaristo Colon, and her mother, Teresa Hernandez, who surely welcomed her with open arms into the peace of the afterlife, as well as her brothers and sisters.

Otilia Colon Cruz will be remembered for her unwavering joy, loving heart, and the indelible mark she left on the lives she touched. Her spirit will live on in the stories shared and the memories cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Otilia Colon Cruz, nacida el 5 de enero de 1941, falleció pacíficamente en su hogar el 23 de diciembre de 2025. Estuvo rodeada de su amado esposo de 51 años y sus hijos, Alberto y Harold. Fue una persona muy querida, cuya calidez y bondad brillaron intensamente en la vida de quienes la rodeaban.
