Patricia Griffith, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026 at the age of 92. She was born in Newark, Ohio, on June 7, 1934.

Patricia was a devoted woman of faith who loved her church, where she was a faithful member of Eastland Baptist Church for more than 50 years. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she cherished the friendships and fellowship she found through her church family. Above all, Patricia loved her family dearly. She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother whose kindness, love and presence touched the lives of everyone around her. Her family was her greatest joy, and she leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love that will continue through the generations.

Patricia was preceded in death by the love of her life and beloved husband George Marvin Griffith, whom she was married to for 54 years before his passing in October 2003.

She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Thomas Earl Griffith of Crossville Tennessee and Ted Marvin Griffith of Raleigh North Carolina.

She is survived by her three children, George Richard Griffith of Crossville Tennessee, Larry James Griffith and wife Sandy of Crossville Tennessee and Sheree Lou Guzman and husband Raymundo of Orlando, Florida.

Patricia is also survived by her two sisters, Jeanene Ziglar and Judy Skrobal, both of Orlando, Florida, along with 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though her family mourns her passing, they take comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior and the love she gave so freely will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Her memory will forever be cherished, and her legacy of faith, love and family will never be forgotten.
