Ramon Luis Correa Arroyo
Passed away on February 9, 2024
Ramón, better known by his family and friends as "Mongüi" was born in November 23, 1944 in the town of Carolina, Puerto Rico to his parents Jesús Correa Matos and María Dominga Arroyo Cruz.
Ramón served in the U. S. Army for a total of 21 years, serving in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm Conflict.
Ramón is survived by his loving wife of 51 years of marriage, Luz María Cancel Morán, his eldest son Luis Daniel Correa Cancel, daughter Zuleika Correa Cancel, daughter in law Keila Correa, grandchildren Keidan Daniel and Luz Aurora Correa and his godson Jesús Antonio Ceballos Correa.
Ramón enjoyed listening to music, reading and gardening during his leisure time. He was also an expert of the culinary arts, but above all he enjoyed spending time with his family who he loved deeply.
Ramón, mejor conocido por su familia y amigos como "Mongüi" nació el 23 de Noviembre de 1944 en Carolina, Puerto Rico, eran sus padres Jesús Correa Matos y María Dominga Arroyo Cruz.
Ramón sirvió en las fuerzas armadas de los Estados Unidos "U.S. Army" por un total de 21 años, sirviendo en la Guerra de Vietnam y el Conflicto del Golfo "Desert Storm."
Le sobreviven su amada esposa por 51 años de Luz María Cancel Morán, su hijo mayor Luis Daniel Correa Cancel, hija Zuleika Correa Cancel, su nuera Keila Correa, nietos Keidan Daniel y Luz Aurora Correa y su ahijado Jesús Antonio Ceballos Correa.
Durante su tiempo libre Ramón disfrutaba de oir música, de la lectura y practicando la jardinería. También era un experto en las artes culinarias pero, sobre todas las cosas él disfrutaba de pasar tiempo con su familia a la cual amó profundamente.
