Regina Lee Jones

Regina Lee Jones (Gena), 79, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with a chronic illness.

Gena was blessed to have shared 63 incredible years of marriage with the love of her life, Milton Thomas Jones, united in marriage on September 21, 1961. She was a devoted lifetime homemaker, dedicating her life to nurturing her family.

Gena was born on December 1, 1945, in Chicago IL, and she graduated from Wendell L. Wilkie High School in Elwood, IN.

With a heart full of joy, Gena collected TY Beanie Babies, novelty dolls, and bears, and she was a passionate animal lover, inspiring her grandchildren with her compassion. Her greatest delights in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gena was preceded in death by her mother, Alma (Meyers) Hunt; father, Claude Hunt; and brother, Dennis Hunt.

She is survived by her loving husband, Milton Thomas Jones; sons, Jeffrey Dennis Jones and Bret Thomas Jones (Pam Jones); 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
