Richard was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was retired owner and operator of a Petroleum business.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth, Son - Raymond A. Lara; Daughter - Christina N. De La Barrera; 4 Granddaughters - Melanie M. De La Barrera, Samantha C. De La Barrera, Ashley L. Lara, Nicole C. Lara; Grandson - Matthew A. Lara.
