With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Richard, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, whose life was a true reflection of joy, purpose, and unconditional love.
Richard lived his life with intention. He had a rare gift—the ability to walk into any room and instantly change its atmosphere. With his humor, kindness, and genuine spirit, he brought smiles, comfort, and peace to countless people.
Whether among family, friends, coworkers, or even strangers, Richard had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and uplifted.
He often said he could never work in an office because people felt trapped and unhappy. Instead, he chose a path that allowed him to connect with others, and for nearly 29 years, he embraced his work with passion and joy, touching lives every single day.
Above all, Richard was a family man. To him, everyone was family. He deeply loved his wife, with whom he shared 35 years of a beautifully unique and enduring partnership. Their bond was filled with laughter, resilience, and a love that grew stronger through every challenge.
He was a proud and devoted father to his son, Tomás, his Soldier, whom he guided with strength, humility, and love.
Richard’s presence was a light—one that will continue to shine through the lives he touched. He never judged others; instead, he accepted people for who they were and brought out the best in them. His legacy is one of love, connection, and the countless smiles he created.
He leaves behind a family who adored him and a community who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, there is comfort in knowing that he lived fully, loved deeply, and knew just how much he was loved in return.
He will be remembered always for his laughter, his endless jokes, his warmth, and the extraordinary way he made the world brighter simply by being in it.
Until we meet again. ❤️
