Listen to Obituary

Richard George (RG) Kondracki, born December 3, 1939, in Reading, Pennsylvania. He passed away peacefully on November 8, 2028. He was son to the late George and Mary (Michalik) Kondracki from Reading, Pennsylvania.

He proudly served in the US Navy with CVA-62 Squadron. He was on the Heavy Attack Squadron on the USS Independence. He was stationed in Sanford, Florida where he made Sanford his residence starting his family and his own businesses (mechanic shop, gas station, and truck stops). He loved to tell his life stories of his military days with his DA3 bomber plane, his days as a welter weight boxer and trainer, his love for racing (especially Formula 1), go-kart racing and his life in Reading, PA. He would talk to anyone willing to listen. He was the best storyteller. He was a lifetime member of NRA, and a long-standing member of SCCA.

He is survived by his five children: Georgeanne (Thomas) Bledsoe, Marcus (Leigh) Kondracki, Michael (Shannon) Kondracki, Adrieanne (Christopher) Whitten, Marieanne (Robert) Coyle. Also surviving are his thirteen grandchildren: Trevor, Brody, Philip, Jared, Gavin, Derek, Madison, Trenton, Carson, Lillie, Harrison, Julia and Austin, mother of his children, Linda, and his siblings Dolores and Georgeann.

He will be greatly missed.
