Richard Joseph Panzironi

Richard J. Panzironi passed away peacefully on 3/12/2025 in Winter Springs, FL, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 3rd, 1945, Rick led a remarkable life filled with dedication and service to our country and his family. He served honorably in the The United States Army Special Forces (SF), colloquially known as the "Green Berets", achieving the rank of Lt. Col. during his distinguished military career. He received numerous awards and decorations for his exceptional contributions to our nation's defense. Rick was a dedicated patriot who served his country for twenty-eight years, displaying unwavering courage and commitment.

In addition to the service to his nation, Rick achieved success in the healthcare industry for many years before retiring to focus on his family and his faith. Rick is survived by his son Eric Panzironi (Megan), daughters Lisa Garner (Chris) and Lorri Wasman (Chris), grandchildren Logan, Camryn, Jenna, Skylar, Kendall, Carly, Joey, Kyla and Landen, and two great grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Rick's life will be held on Thursday 4/10/2025 at 10am, at Newcomer Funeral Home Winter Park (3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792). There will also be a burial service with full military honors held at 2pm on the same day at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 U.S. Highway 1, North Mims, FL 32754).
