Ricky Eugene Brown

Ricky Eugene Brown passed away on July 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy marked by laughter, affection, and unforgettable memories. Born on February 18, 1951, Ricky brought joy and a unique spark into the lives of all who knew him.

Ricky was well known for his sense of humor, his quick wit, and his playful approach to life. He was described by those close to him as both funny and intelligent, we used to call him our Einstein. These qualities endeared him to friends and family alike, making time spent in his company warm, lively, and never dull.

Ricky loved cruising and traveling with the love of his life Lynn. They especially loved Alaska and dressing up on Halloween cruises, he even won first prize when he dressed up as a balloon dog.

Among Ricky’s fondest memories were the moments he cherished with his wife Lynn, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. One of Ricky’s passions was riding his Harley with his best friend and brother-in-law Steve. His other love was going to car races with his grandson Cody and brother-in-law Steve.

Ricky also knew how to have fun and brought a sense of celebration to everyday life. He loved Ocala and his sisters Robin Haley and Melody Janes. He especially loved his grandchildren, Cody, Jenna, Taylor, Blair and Lauren.

His true impact is clearly seen in the joy he brought to his family and those fortunate enough to call him a friend. His memory will be cherished forever, and he will deeply be missed.
