Robert Louis Brown Jr., age 61, of Orlando, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Saturday, May 16, 2026. He showed immense strength and determination in the face of adversity, refusing to let cancer define him.
Rob was a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and friend. He married the love of his life and best friend, Sandy, and together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family. Of all his many accomplishments, he was most proud of the family they created and the four children they raised together.
He took great pride in his work and had an incredible ability to fix just about anything. Family and friends could always count on him whenever something needed repair or when a helping hand was needed.
From a young age, Rob was happiest outdoors, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, surfing, fishing, boating and camping, and he continued to share that love with his family throughout his life.
He loved taking long rides on his Harley with friends and family, always choosing the back roads to enjoy the scenery and the peace they brought.
Rob had a lifelong love for golf. Rain or shine, he looked forward to his weekly rounds with his best friend, Tim, and the camaraderie they shared on the course. He passed that love on to his children, teaching each of them to play and creating countless cherished memories through the game
Music was also a huge part of who he was. Anyone who knew Rob knew his taste in music was about as diverse as they come. From the early days of vinyl records to massive surround-sound speakers to his JBL speaker, he always had control of the aux, and it never disappointed.
In every sense of the word, Rob was a great man. His presence was always felt in every room he entered, not only because of his loving personality, but because of his unwavering confidence in himself and in the path, he chose in life. He was a pillar in the lives of those who loved him, and we will carry him with us in our hearts and minds forever.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; their four children, Madison, Chase, Makenzi and Chad; his beloved animals Beau, Otis, Bella and Lil Cat. Parents Robert and Faith Brown. Siblings Wayne, Rebecca, Kim and her children, Noah & Hanna.
All who knew Rob were blessed and better for having shared their lives with him. His love, strength, laughter, and spirit will always remain with us.
