He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil LaVerne Smith and Delma Smith, and sister, Beverly Ann Moriarty.
He is survived by family friend, Margurite Gates Watson.
Robert is a US Army veteran.
Private services will be held by the family.
Arrangements are by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (East Orlando Chapel).
