Robin Jo Dorst, a devoted mother, loving sister, and exceptional welder fabricator, passed away on May 27, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Born on July 2, 1957, in Trenton, Michigan, Robin's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and faith.
With over 40 years of experience as a hard-working and top-of-the-line welder fabricator, Robin's skill and commitment to her profession were remarkable. She built a career grounded in precision and excellence, earning the respect of her colleagues and peers in the welding community.
Robin was widely known for her kind and generous spirit. She was the kindest person ever, always ready to offer love and support. A devout Christian and God-fearing woman, her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her interactions and the boundless compassion she showed to those around her.
Her proudest accomplishments were her children and family, whom she cherished above all else. She leaves behind five devoted children: Cheryl Outen, Robert Dorst, Robin Sargent, Mary Warman, and Allen Streeter. Alongside them, her surviving siblings Renee Farley, Sandy Tyndall, and Randall Underwood carry forward her loving legacy. Robin was also a treasured aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Memories of Robin are filled with warmth, joy, and great wisdom to share with all. Her loved ones recall holiday gatherings and heartfelt conversations where one could speak to her about anything. Much joy was found in cruising together—moments that captured her love for travel and connection with family. Her interests spanned ensuring everyone around her was happy, shopping, playing bingo, bowling, fishing, attending church, traveling, and cruising. These activities reflected her enthusiasm for life and her honest desire to bring happiness to those near her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert J. Dorst, and her parents, Richard Underwood and Mary Sue Allen, whose memories she kept close to her heart.
Robin Jo Dorst’s legacy is one of honest labor, profound kindness, and unshakeable faith. Her life touched countless people, leaving a permanent mark on her family, friends, and community. In celebrating her life, they remember a woman devoted to love, faith, and the tireless care of those she held dear. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Unfortunately, no flowers are allowed to be left at the military cemetery. Anything brought to the church will not be able to be taken to the cemetery.
Services will be held at 9:30 am on June 15th, 2026 at:

Directly after the service will be a burial ceremony at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery located at 5525 US-1 in Mims. The ceremony begins at 12:15 sharp, and the procession will be located at the opening of the cemetery.
Following the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, the family will return to the church for food and fellowship.
