He was born on May 12, 2002 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Roland was an 8th grader at Odyssey Middle School in Orlando. He played basketball for the Y.M.C.A. and attended Faith Assembly of God Church.
Roland is survived by his parents, Joseph and Marie Cajuste; sisters, Belindha Orly Russell and her husband, Kamar and Christelle Orly Cajuste; grandfather, Roland Pierre-Canel; grandmother, Francesse Souffrant; nephew, Leon Kamar Joseph Russell and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
