Ron, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great‑grandfather, passed away at the age of 86 on May 6th, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. A longtime resident of Orlando, he built a life defined by curiosity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to the people he cherished most.

Born in the Bronx, Ron carried with him the energy and determination of his New York roots throughout his life. He graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a degree that launched a remarkable career. He began his professional journey in New London, Connecticut, working on submarine technology before transitioning into the emerging world of microelectronics. There, he became a true pioneer—helping shape early video game technology and scientific calculators long before they became household staples. Ron later joined Lockheed Martin, where he continued to innovate until his retirement in 2000.

He was the loving husband of Pat, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage, adventure, and laughter. Together they had four children — Jeanne (Ross), Debbie, Nancy (Pat), and Kenny (Melissa) — who were the center of his world. His family grew to include ten grandchildren and two great‑grandchildren, each of whom he adored and proudly supported at many sports games, school performances, graduations, and weddings.

In retirement, Ron embraced life with the same enthusiasm he brought to his career. He and Pat traveled widely, visited family often, and spent time playing games with those he loved most. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and the game of Hearts, where he was known for both his competitive spirit and his good‑natured humor. Trips on the casino boat were a favorite pastime; he went there to “fish for money,” though he lost a lot of bait along the way.

A man of deep faith, Ron was a greeter and devoted communicant at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where his warm smile and welcoming presence were familiar to many.

Ron leaves behind a legacy of love, curiosity, and generosity. His family will remember him for his wit, his wisdom, and the way he made every gathering memorable simply by being there.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
