Rosa E. Ruiz Matos

Rosa E Ruiz Matos passed away in her home on January 6, 2025. Rosa was a widow and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Carmen and granddaughter Michelle who adored her “Abuelita.” She was known for her vibrant spirit, friendliness, and positive attitude.
Rosa was born in Anasco, Puerto Rico in 1936. She lived in New York most of her life, but the last ten years she lived in Winter Garden, Florida. She worked as an Assistant Teacher with young children in Day Cares. She loved cooking traditional Puerto Rican dishes. She loved talking to people. She was a social butterfly.
Rosa will be buried with her husband in Cape Canaveral Veteran’s Cemetery on January 16, 2025. Rosa will be missed by her family and friends.
