Rosaura Rivera

On May 14, 2025 Rosaura Rivera was called to meet her Heavenly Father, after battling cancer for five years. She is survived by brother Hector Serrano, spouse Luis Morales, daughters Josie Rivera and Jenifer Rivera as well as 7 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, late husband Hector Rivera and son Juan ‘Chino’ Rivera. 

Rosaura was a resilient woman who cared deeply for her family and friends. She loved her homeland Puerto Rico, dancing, listening to music, watching novellas, and the occasional coors light "una fria". Everyone will remember her for hosting any and all celebrations, her delicious cooking, and silly personality. May she rest in paradise.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 4 - 8 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. A service to celebrate Rosaura's life will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 6 PM in the funeral home chapel.
