Rudy was born on August 1,1936 in Adolfsdorf, Yugoslavia, and grew up in the beautiful Alpine foothills of Vocklabruck, Austria. He then immigrated to New York in 1955 and met his wife Emma in Akron, Ohio shortly thereafter. There, he and Emma settled and began to raise their family and establish, along with his brother and brother in law, LBL Tool and Die Company, which he ran very successfully for many years. In 1975, he moved his family to Florida to semi retire and enjoy the warm and active year round lifestyle. In his early days, Rudy enjoyed playing, watching, and supporting soccer and was involved with youth coaching in his free time. Rudy was also an avid boater and enjoyed diving and reef snorkeling particularly in the Florida Keys when he got the chance with his friends and family. Rudy, a very talented, ambitious, and capable man, also enjoyed restoring classic and antique cars such as his 1956 Ford Thunderbird convertible, in addition to having many other hobbies and interests. The highlight of his day, however, has always been to engage and interact with his beloved grandchildren which brought him much joy, laughter, and many fond memories to cherish.
Above all else, Rudy was a very humble, caring, and generous family man who would do anything to help and support his family, always putting their interests and well being above his own. He set the bar high and lived by example though his unwavering commitment and support for those he loved which will serve as his legacy and living testimony for his surviving family members to follow for many years to come.
