Sally Isolene Browning

Sally Isolene Browning, 84, of Longwood, Florida, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, July 27, 2026.

After a nearly decade-long journey with Alzheimer's, which she faced with grace, dignity, and humor, she has received the ultimate victory and has been made complete in the presence of Jesus.

Sally is survived by her four beloved children: Karen Browning; Debra Davis (Bill); Kathy Browning (Christopher Kehoe); and Michael Browning. She also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Garrett Browning and Caroline Davis, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Kenneth and Eve Kroier, and her sister, Elsa Lawson.

Sally was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Paxon High School. She later began a career in banking, which included many years with Barnett Bank/Bank of America and later Edward Jones.

She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her deep Christian faith, and the unconditional love she gave so freely to her family and friends. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making everyone she encountered feel seen, valued, and welcome. She had a heart full of gratitude and never missed an opportunity to thank members of the military, veterans, and police officers for their service.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed going out for breakfast with the people she loved, browsing the aisles of Dollar Tree, spending time completing her favorite find-a-word puzzles, and cuddling with her devoted and adored cat, Gracie. She could often be heard saying, "I love my life." Those words reflected the gratitude, faith, and joy with which she lived every day.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750.
