In Loving Memory of Sandra Gale Webb — "Sandy" 

Sandra "Sandy" Gale Webb, 71, of Longwood, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Sandy was born on Christmas Day, 1954, in Orlando to George Day and Mary C. Long. She earned her Associate of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida and went on to complete her Bachelor's in Communications at Rollins College. From there, she built a rewarding career in procurement management before enjoying a well-earned retirement.

On February 25, 1989, Sandy married James Huey Webb. Together, they shared a passion for exploring the world, even living abroad for extended periods in Jeddah and Mallorca. Sandy always loved sharing vivid stories from her adventures across Europe, Asia, Africa, and back home in the United States.

At home, Sandy’s heart belonged to her animals and her garden. Over the years, she cared for a succession of cherished dogs—including a show dog—and cats, including a stray kitten she rescued right off the streets of Saudi Arabia. She was also a gifted gardener with a true green thumb, finding immense joy in cultivating exotic plants and filling her home with unique botanical displays.

Sandy is survived by her brother, Robert Long, and his wife, Luisa; her sister, Carol Ferdinand, and her husband, Don; and her nephew, Collin Long. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary, and her beloved husband, James. Her warmth, dynamic spirit, and generous heart will be deeply missed by her family and many dear friends.
