Sara Elizabeth Wilkinson

Sara Elizabeth Wilkinson (Beth) of Winter Park, FL, passed peacefully on June 14, 2025. Beth was a Christmas baby born to Elizabeth and Tommy Gower, on Dec. 25th, 1941. She married her husband, JT. in 1962, and began a career in accounting which she proudly continued until she retired at the age of 55. She faithfully supported her husband in providing for the family she adored while doing what she truly loved. She was an amazing cook, learned from her precious mother Elizabeth. She loved nothing more than to prepare a meal and gather around her table with family and friends. The family has so many wonderful memories of the meals their mother and grandmother so lovingly prepared together. No matter how many came, there was always enough. A treasured gift her children now share with their families.

Beth was preceded in death by her husband J.T., her son Michael, her mother and father, Tommy and Elizabeth Gower, and her brother Tim Gower.

Beth is survived by her brother Donald Gower (Shirley), son Les Wilkinson (Rene), with grandsons Robert, Joshua (Tiffanie), and Eric (Kaitlyn); daughter Gina Smith (Kevin) with grandsons Andrew (Mary Margaret) and Matthew (Olivia), and granddaughter Sarah (Logan); son Phillip Wilkinson (Jessica) with their children Faith (Trent), Bradley, Madilyn, and Phillip. Beth has many great grandchildren who have spent much time with their Memaw sharing snacks and picking flowers for her in the garden.

Sarah Elizabeth Gower Wilkinson left a beautiful legacy.

She loved the Lord and loved people well.

Visitation is Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 11am to 12pm with funeral service starting at 12pm at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).

Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL
