Steven Alicea Nieves

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Steven Alicea Nieves, who lost his battle to cancer on June 16, 2025. Steven leaves behind his cherished children—Steven, Jorge Luis, Zuleyka, Armando, Leo, and Kamelee. He selflessly dedicated himself to helping others, extending his kindness to all in need. With a heart full of compassion, Steven inspired us to appreciate the beauty in kindness and to uphold the importance of helping others.

He is also survived by his loving siblings, Jesus “Chuco”, Teddy, and Elaine, who will forever hold dear memories of his warmth and humor. Throughout his life, Steven radiated strength and resilience and left a lasting impact on everyone he met; his strength shone brightly, even amid his illness. Although he is no longer with us, the legacy of benevolence and kindness he created will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, papi; we will continue to honor your memory by living with the same altruism you exemplified each day.
