Steven Lyn Holler, known affectionately as Steve to those who knew and loved him, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, after a brief illness. Born on July 15, 1946, in Pryor, Oklahoma, Steve lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and an unyielding zest for both work and play.

Steve’s career was as vibrant and multifaceted as his personality. For 25 years, he was deeply involved in the computer business, excelling in software sales and coding. His sharp intellect and keen problem-solving skills made him a respected figure in the tech community. Later, he shifted paths but not his commitment, thriving for another 25 years as a commercial real estate agent. Throughout all his professional endeavors, Steve was known for his honesty, tireless work ethic, and integrity—qualities that endeared him to colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond his career, Steve was a man of many passions. He found immense joy in the serene beauty of the beach and had a special place in his heart for the mountains of Colorado, where he generously served as a ski patrol, watching over others and sharing his love for the snowy slopes. These adventures reflected a spirit both adventurous and kind—a combination that made him a cherished friend and companion.

But perhaps what defined Steve most was his love for his wife, Janice Brooks. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and partnership, filled with shared moments of laughter, kindness, and heartfelt connection. Steve treasured the time spent by Janice’s side, savoring the simple and profound joys of life together. He also found joy and pride in his family: his sister Janis Holler, his brother Jack Holler, his two stepsons, Spencer Allcock and his wife Lorraine and Ben Allcock and his wife Sarah, and his grandchildren Jack Allcock and Loren Allcock, each carrying forward the legacy of a man who was fun-loving, sincere, and endlessly witty.

Steve was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jack S. Holler and Merle B. Holler, who surely look down with pride upon the man he became.

To know Steve was to experience a rare blend of intelligence, kindness, and genuine goodness. He was a truly all-around great guy—one who met life with an open heart and a ready smile, who worked hard but never missed the chance for a meaningful joke, a warm embrace, or quiet reflection. His loss is deeply felt, yet the memories of his life, his laughter, and his love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him.

As we remember Steven Lyn Holler, we celebrate a soul that touched so many lives and honor a legacy that will endure through his family and countless friends. May he rest in peace, forever embraced by the gentle waves of the beach he loved and the snowy mountains where he once watched over others with steadfast care.
