Teonila Diaz, born on August 24, 1938, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and generosity that will remain forever cherished by her devoted family and friends.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and beloved sister, Teonila was the heart and soul of her family. She is survived by her loving children: sons Peter J. Diaz, Adam Diaz, Ricky Diaz, and daughters Doris Diaz and Lisa Kouletsis. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren: Jessenia Diaz, Josias Diaz, Peter Diaz III, Adam C. Diaz II, Christopher Diaz, Gabriella Kouletsis, Nick Kouletsis, and Daniella Kouletsis. Teonila also leaves behind her great-grandson, Wade Diaz, as well as several beloved siblings, each who held a special place in her heart. She is predeceased by her father, Jose Gonzalez, her mother, Elena Gonzalez, and her beloved husband, Pedro Diaz.

Throughout her long and meaningful life, Teonila was known for her unwavering devotion to her family. Her proudest accomplishment was living for those she loved most, always putting her family first and ensuring that each member felt the warmth of her care. Teonila’s home was a haven for all, with her door always open to anyone in need. No one was ever left out, and everyone who crossed her threshold was greeted with kindness, warmth, and the unmistakable sense of belonging.

Her loving and faithful nature was matched by her strength and her vibrant personality. Described as “spicy,” Teonila brought energy and vivacity to every gathering. Her giving spirit and generosity touched countless lives, and her loyalty was without parallel.

Teonila was an exceptional cook, and her family fondly remembers the meals she lovingly prepared, each dish a testament to her culinary talent and her desire to bring people together. She especially treasured the moments when her son Ricky would do her hair, a simple gesture that spoke volumes about the close bonds she shared with her children.

Teonila Diaz will be remembered as someone who was always there for her family, always welcoming, always generous, and always strong. While her absence leaves a profound void, her legacy of love, faith, and generosity lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, siblings, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
