Thomas Hastings, age 88, of Orlando, passed away Thursday, July 12 at his residence. He was born in Shelbyville, TN on February 2, 1924 to Joseph Virgil Hastings and Rosabel Moore Hastings.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired Civil Engineer with the Orange County Public Works.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Hastings; sons, Thomas Hastings, Jr. and Keith Hastings; daughter, Jane Hastings Ford; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4PM-8PM, Monday, July 16 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Tuesday, July 17 at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
