Thomas "Tommy" Patrick Kenny, born December 4, 1945, in New York to Florence Kenny (Diehl) and George Kenny, passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 79.
Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force beginning in 1963. After completing his military service, he relocated to Florida in 1972 and established a successful career as a journeyman plumber in commercial construction. He contributed to numerous landmark projects, including the early expansion of Disney World. Among his proudest accomplishments was his work on the Research Pavillion at the University of Central Florida, which required the installation of specialized glass piping systems for handling chemical drainage. He retired in 2009.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Tom developed a deep passion for bodybuilding in his 40s competing and winning awards in several Central Florida competitions. He trained six days a week into his early 70s.
He is survived by his son, Sean.
