Velta Y. Cress, age 79, of Orlando, FL passed away Thursday December 8, 2016.
She was born on November 2, 1937 in Derby, VA to the late Woodrow Wilson and Polly S. Hayes. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Cress Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Y. Wheeler, Patricia D. Cress, and Destiny D. Cress; grandchildren, Ginger Robertson, Shane Canada, Cassie Ferguson, and Courtney Wheeler; 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
Visitation is Monday December 19, 2016 from 6pm to 7pm with the funeral starting at 7pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
