Professor Vincent Joseph Sands, 61 of Orlando passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was born on September 6, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry G. Sands and Hilda M. Cleveland Sands. He moved to Central Florida in 1955 where he worked as a Martial Arts Instructor for many years. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served in Vietnam.
As well as being preceded in death by his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Sands in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sands; daughter, Erika D. Jones; grandchildren, Layla E. McClees, James A. Dinkins, Matthew J. Jones and Meredith J. Mathews and great grandchild, Brynlee R. Bryant.
