Vital F. Jose

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vital José, age 85, on September 8, 2026 at 1:40 am.

Vital was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and beloved brother. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Celina José, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage and a lifetime of love and memories. Together, they built a life filled with family, friendships, and many chapters in different places. Their journey took them from Coruche, Portugal to Longwood, Florida.

Vital is survived by his two sons, Carlos José and his wife, Debbie, and Jason José and his wife, Linda. He was a proud grandfather to Christopher José, Brandon José and his wife, Lauren, Parker José, and Gabriella José.

He is also survived by his brother, Jose Mendanha.

Family was at the heart of Vital’s life. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with those he loved. His presence, love, and memories will remain a lasting part of the lives of his family and friends.

Vital will be remembered with love and gratitude for the life he shared with those around him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on through his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, and all those whose lives he touched.

He will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed.
