Wilbur “Reese” White, age 90, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025. Born on November 9, 1935, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Reese served in the US Army from 1958 – 1964. Reese spent most of his life in Orlando, Florida, where he built a life rooted in family, hard work, and quiet strength. He lived a long and meaningful life marked by kindness, resilience, and deep devotion to those he loved.

Reese enjoyed a long career as a truck driver, retiring from Crown Cork & Seal before continuing to work for various companies. He fully retired in 2005, closing a proud chapter of dedication and commitment to his profession.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anna White; his brothers, Al White (Maxine), Wesley White; and his children, Dwayne White (Angela), Douglas White, and DeAnna Goodin (Jack). He was a proud grandfather to Justin White, Dalton White, Logan Goodin (Yani), and Jacky Goodin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvie Newman White and Beulah FrancesGuy White; brothers Enos, James Newman, Haskell and Elton White; sisters, Glenna Wise, Rose Heise, Alene McKinney and Christine Dickerson.

Those who knew Reese will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter; his deep-rooted faith in Jesus and his unwavering love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

His legacy lives on through the memories he created with family and friends and through the love and values he passed down through the generations.

Services

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home,3806 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.

A funeral service will follow from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.

Interment will take place at Glen Haven Cemetery at 3:00 PM,2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789.
