William Henry "Bill" Jackson

William Henry “Bill” Jackson, always and forever “Billy” to his mother Hazel.

Bill passed away February 10, 2026 after a valiant battle against cancer.

He was proceeded in death by his father William Henderson Jackson, “Bill” to some, Henderson to family, and his mother Hazel Clara Luthge Jackson.

Bill is survived by his wife, Connie Terry, his only child Rebecca Eileen Jackson Capostagno,(mother Bonnie Foster Cardenaz) grandson Evan Capostagno, and granddaughter Anna Capostagno, numerous cousins and second cousins.

After more than 11 years of marriage, Bill was a much loved but unexpected blessing to his parents, born January 30, 1954.

He was precocious, incredibly intelligent, taking apart complicated machinery and being able to put them back together by the age of five.

He received his first two cycle engine certification at the age of seven years old.

He worked with his parents in the family business, Jackson Saw and Mower Service located in Fairvilla, on North Orange Blossom Trail in the afternoons and on weekends.

The business was sold and became Trail Saw and Mower Service in 1975.

In 1983 Bill went to work for Trail Saw and Mower Service, while simultaneously assisting in caring for the family properties with his then wife, Bonnie.

He retired from Trail Saw and Mower Service in 2020 and spent his retirement years enjoying puttering in his garden and making it beautiful with plants and projects.

Visitation is Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with funeral service starting at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel), 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, Florida 32792.

Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
