William Leroy Messner

William “Bill” Messner was born on July 1, 1942 in Michigan and passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. During his life, he enjoyed boxing, bird watching and surf-fishing.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ann Messner, brothers, James Messner, John Messner, Robie Messner; sister, Valerie Roberts and his grandson, Michael Hawkins. 

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia; daughters, Sheila Willoughby (Aaron), Gina Ryals (Jason) and Donna Wasileski (Carl); son, Casey Nettles (Dawn) and sister, Jan Holt. Bill had 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
