Donna Jean Carpenter Ray, 59, of Mims, Florida, passed away February 8, 2017 at home.
She was born in York, Pennsylvania to Donald & Mary Carpenter.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Ronnie Eugene Ray. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Crystal (Derek) Efaw, Nutter Fort, W. VA., Mary Chrislip, Shinnston, W. VA., Donna Chrislip, Mims, Florida. 1 son, James Brooks, Titusville, Florida, 4 sisters, Susan (Neal) Goodrich, Oak Hill, Florida, Rebecca (Curt) Myers, Edgewater, Florida, Wanda Carpenter, Titusville, Florida, Patricia (Larry) Lumley, Butler, PA, 1 brother, John Casey Barker, Titusville, Florida, 1 step-father, John Christian Barker, Titusville, Florida, 10 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is pre-deceased by both her parents, Donald Carpenter & Mary Carpenter Barker, Linda Carpenter, her sister, Donald Carpenter, her brother, and 1 granddaughter, Lilyanna Efaw as well as by her husband, Glenn Chrislip.
Donna enjoyed fishing, nature, gardening, music, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of the American Legion post 359 and VFW post 4228.
A celebration of life will be held on February 11, 2017 at 2:30 p.m., at Marina Park, 501 Marina Road, Titusville, Florida.
