Captain Gary Alan Green, 57, passed away on November 1st of 2017 from injuries sustained from a car accident in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was born on April 9th 1960 in the small town of Bangor, Maine. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice. After graduation, Gary enlisted into the ARMY as an officer. After 9 years of dedicated service, he was honorably discharged as a Captain. He also obtained his MBA in 2005. After completing his education, he found success in Information Technology. A passion of which was passed onto his son.

Gary Green was a loving and devoted husband. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 34 years, Sil Green and their two children, Jesse A. Green-wife Nichole of Gilbert, Arizona and Rebecca L. Green, of Orlando, Florida. His father Merrill A. Green of Riverside, California. His sisters Cheryl Scott of Greenville, South Carolina and Dr. Pamela Green of Los Angeles, California. He is also survived by his loving dogs, Lily and Pizza Pie.

He is preceded in death by his mother, the late Irene A. Green and Holly, his most loyal dog.

Gary loved his life, he was always smiling and found happiness even on difficult days. He was very proud of his family, supporting his wife and children in any endeavor. He had a passion for golf, classic rock music, and much love for his dogs. His favorite past times were sneaking peanut M&M’s, enjoying his wife’s cooking, and watching Jeopardy every night with her.

Services will be held at Newcomer Funerals & Receptions, Orlando 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822 on Monday the 13th of November at 10:00am with burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754 with Military Honors at 3:00pm.
