Frances Carol Hentze
1930 - 2019

Frances Carol Hentze, age 88, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Orlando, FL. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond Hentze.

Frances, affectionately known as Carol or Kewpie by many, grew up and raised her family in Hudson County, NJ before moving to Orlando, FL. She was born on June 27, 1930 at home in Secaucus, NJ; daughter of Helen (Glospie) Bennett. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Throughout her life she appreciated the beauty of nature, the importance of family and enjoyed spending time focusing on both. Frances loved creating beautiful ceramic pieces, and her friends and family were the recipients of many of her works of art. Her family included two very special canine members, Byron and Dooley, both of whom she rescued from troubling circumstances and they brought her great joy. They may have been the most spoiled pups in the world.

Frances is survived by her two sons, Raymond Hentze and his wife, Pat, and Darrin Hentze and his wife, Lisa; her daughter, Laurie Steiner and her husband, Jack; five grandchildren, Lisa Milewski, John Steiner, Kimberly Hentze, Gregory Hentze, and Jessica Wojtaszek; 3 grand nieces, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great -grand nieces; her sister, Beverly Rice; niece Patti Rice; and nephew Lawrence Rice and his wife Shiela.

She was preceded in death by her mother Helen and her husband, Raymond.
