Carolina Persico
1991 - 2020

Carolina Persico, age 28, of Orlando, FL passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Advent Health Orlando.

Carolina was born on June 22, 1991 in Miami, FL to parents Martha Upegui and Mario Persico. Most recently, she was working as a service advisor in the service department for Sutherlin Nissan of Orlando.

She loved spending time with her kids, friends and family. Music and dancing would be her peace, and lets not forget how great of a cook she was. She would always approach you with a big smile and tell you to "change your face." Her hugs were always the warmest and her eyes were always filled with joy. Her biggest accomplishment she would say is that she was a successful single mother meanwhile being a hard worker. Going the extra mile, never judging, and never complaining came natural to her. "Don't lose faith" were her last words. She always said to us, no matter what religion you think you believe in or if you don't like religions, just as long as you believe in god and you have your own relationship with him then your faith is always strong enough.

Carolina is survived by her mother, Martha Upegui of Orlando; her father, Mario Persico of Port St. Lucie; her stepfather, Gerardo Salas of Orlando; her stepmother, Adriana Persico of Port St. Lucie; her two sons, Julian J. Saenz of Miami Fl, and Dominic M. Davidson of Orlando; her daughter, Tatiana N. Artivia of Orlando; her maternal grandmother, Esperanza Upegui of Arlington, TX; her paternal grandmother, Magdalena Persico of Colombia; her sister, Alejandra Mendez of Orlando and Daniella Persico of Port St. Lucie; her two step-sisters, Ellenie G. Salas, and Sally G. Salas of Orlando; many aunts and uncles and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Javier Upegui, and Giuseppe Persico.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, 32822.

Funeral Services will be celebrated on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 10am at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel with Pastor Tom Hensley officiating.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
